Membrane filtration

The need to separate smaller and smaller particles from each other within a flow stream is becoming increasingly important in process industries.

Membrane filtration is the established solution to separate very small particles. Alfa Laval’s range of membranes covers four categories separating particles of different sizes from the feed liquid. The categories comprise:

  • reverse osmosis
  • nanofiltration
  • ultrafiltration
  • microfiltration
